How spoofing and pharming work
Spoofing hides true identity using someone else's email or IP; pharming redirects links to fake sites.
Spoofing hides the attacker's true identity by using someone else's email or IP address. The user receives a spoofed email or clicks a pharming-redirected link, lands on a fake website that looks like the real one, and unknowingly enters orders or data that the attacker steals. Spoofing threatens integrity (orders can be altered) and authenticity (true sender is hidden).
